Rai 1 · Guitars
Stanotte a Parigi is Alberto Angela’s special devoted to the French capital, aired in prime time on Rai 1 at Christmas 2023.
Manuel Sirotti was called in to play the guitars on the programme’s music, composed by Giuseppe and Ruben Zambon. On the soundtrack released by Rai Com he is credited on the track Locura.
A prime-time special asks the music to sit beneath the images and the voice-over while still carrying a long narrative. The guitars were recorded with this constraint in mind, choosing warm, unobtrusive tones.
The result: the guitars that accompany the story of the city.
